This plan provides an easy opportunity to enjoy smelt fishing even if while you are on your trip.

Everything you need, such as winter gear, gloves, and rubber boots. There is also a stove inside the fishing hut, so you can stay warm while you fish! The staff will guide you on how to fish for smelt!
Food, drinks and snacks can be brought into the fishing sight too.

First you have to try your hand at opening a hole in the thick ice!
Visitors can first experience opening a hole with a designated drill, and then fish in the hole you opened!

All the smelt you have caught can be made into tempura, which is the best and most delicious way to eat them, and enjoy them on site!
