This course takes visitors to popular tourist attractions just outside of Sapporo City. The bus will depart from Sapporo and head for the Northern Horse Park where visitors will tour K’s Garden. There is the “”Mami-no-oka”" observation deck where visitors can view the entire scenery of the Northern Horse Farm where horses graze freely.
The observation deck is about 8 meters high, and once you step up to the top, an amazing pastoral view resembling that of a European countryside comes into sight. Beyond the fence, horses and their young can be seen grazing freely. We highly recommend the “”pony show”" that begins at 11:00. Cute ponies perform numerous tricks filling the audience with laughter. (show lasts about 10 min)
The tour will then proceed to Roadside Station Abira D51 Station, where we will visit the old station and then on to Yuni Gardens. Yuni Gardens is home to the largest English Garden in the nation. Throughout the vast premises, eleven theme gardens filled with creativity and beauty seek to enchant viewers. In the center of Yuni Gardens is the Center House which houses a restaurant , cafeteria, and the “Inner Garden” shop selling Yuni vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We will enjoy a buffet lunch filled with fresh vegetables and healthy creative meals at the Yuni Garden Restaurant Chive. There are many drinks such as herbal teas and soft drinks, as well as delicious desserts included in the 40 item buffet. After a leisurely lunch we will head to Yubari Melon Dome. At Yubari Melon Dome, we will visit the green house where the melons are grown and taste 1/2 cut of Yubari Melon. Inside the facility there are many souvenirs and fruits for sale, so please enjoy your time shopping. On the way home passengers have the option of being dropped off at New Chitose Airport, making this course a very convenient sightseeing course.
