●Nitori Art Museum (former Hokkaido Takushoku Bank Otaru Branch) – once the venue at which writer Takizo Kobayashi worked as a banker. The vaulted ceiling in the foyer that reaches up to the second floor, is supported by 6 impressive ancient columns. The fourth floor displays Japanese paintings by Daikan Yokoyama, and Gyodo Kawai, while the third floor displays Western art by Japanese artist Ryusei Kishida, and other artists from around the world. On the second floor, wooden sculptures by Mitsuun Takamura and his understudies are displayed; the basement floor is an Art Nouveau gallery.

●Art Nouveau ,Art Deco and Glass Gallery (Nitori Art Museum B1)
Features art nouveau and art deco glass by Galle, Daum Brothers, and Lalique. The “Forest of Lamps,” with ties to the 1900 Paris Expo, features numerous table lamps that emanate a soft glow. Besides the beautiful glass pieces, a number of pieces of furniture are also displayed as a part of the art nouveau and art deco period. Enjoy the luxurious interior of the room.

●The former Mitsui Bank Otaru Branch was later renovated as 6th generation Mitsui Bank Otaru Branch in Showa 2 (1927). It was designed by the Sone Tatsuzo Construction Company, which was the leading construction company of that era. The Renaissance exterior is made of bold stonework, with hallways that encircle the vaulted ceiling, and beautiful plaster sculptures that adorn the ceiling. The building is not merely a beautiful piece of architecture, but also depicts bank construction of that era.

●Stained Glass Museum (former Takahashi Warehouses)- Built in the early 20th Century, the Western-style former Takahashi Warehouses depict typical buildings of Otaru during that era; timber-framed stone construction with queen post truss. The museum displays approximately 140 artifacts of stained glass that once adorned the church windows of England, between the the end of the 19th Century, and early 20th Century.Beautiful light shines through the gorgeous glass on four sides of the room, creating a shower of solemn light. The Otaru Art Park Museum Shop next door is free of admission.
