  • ※Admission to the Ice Festival is not included. Each passenger must pay for the entry fee. (Adults: 1,000 yen; 11 years old and younger: free)
  • *Please note that our duration at a tourist attraction may be shortened if there are delays due to traffic congestion. Furthermore, if our arrival time to Lake Shikotsu is delayed, we may not have time to visit the Ice Festival.
  • *The venue is very slippery so please watch your step.
  • *The venue is also very cold; please be sure to dress warmly.
  • *Please note that this course does not stop at New Chitose Airport or Minami Chitose.
  • *There are also no rest areas or gift shops at the venue.
  • *The Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival is held within the Lake Shikotsu Hot Spring Village, which has several stores. However, most stores may close by 17:00.
    For light snaks or small meals, we recommend purchasing them either upon arrival at Lake Shikotsu or beforehand at the Wattsu Service Area.
Continue reading →]]> This course coincides with the “Lake Shikotsu Hyoto Festival,” a festival of ice held on the shores of Lake Shikotsu each winter. The objects of ice are made from Lake Shikotsu’s clear water, and illuminated with a myriad of colored lights creating a fantastic and mystical atmosphere!
